D.I.Y. Chevron Rug

Now that I have 900+ square feet of hardwood floor space, I am in dire need of some snazzy rugs!! My husband is giving me quite a hard time about this and if you've ever read the book Stuff White People Like by Christian Lander, you'll know why.

Regardless, here's a reasonably simple D.I.Y. tutorial on constructing your own lovely chevron rug.

soZealous for: WHITE ROOMS

This week, the Hubby & I began moving into our lovely new apartment. In addition to the french doors, hardwood floors, a clawfoot tub, & THREE bedrooms, we also have colored walls in all the rooms. All of the rooms excluding the future home of my crafting space/ office. This got me searching for a little white room inspiration...

Though we do have the option to paint it however we'd like, I'm actually looking forward to leaving the room 'as is' and focusing on pink & black accents. Can't wait to piece it together and post some pics of the new place!!
