Shanghai Dreamers

Couture meets Eastern culture in this collaboration from Christian Dior and Chinese photographer Quentin Shih.

The series was launched to coincide with the reopening of the Shanghai Dior boutique in 2010. The images, which are also a commentary on Chinese mass culture, are absolutely captivating.

I purchased some last summer at a second-hand clothing boutique on Richmond's famed Cary Street. It's a feature I definitely want to incorporate in the soZealous collection. Yet, I'm finding them hard to come by! If anything, they make excellent frame fillers!
