All I know about these photos is:
1.) They were shot by Jason Brownrigg.
2.) I find them absolutely intriguing...
I'm half tempted to write a short story or screenplay about why these lovely ladies are under investigation, at least for my own amusement.
D.I.Y. Christmas Treetopper
This beautiful burst of color was constructed using a foam ball, sticks, spray paint and glitter.
Find this project and 19 others in the fanciful gallery of do-it-yourself treetoppers assembled by Better Homes & Gardens.

I Heart Your Style
Whenever I'm not sure of an outfit I wonder, "Would Sofia Coppola like this?"
I <3 Your Style by Amanda Brooks is a guidebook on curating one's personal wardrobe that features the most prominent fashion icons and the pieces that made their looks famous.
Of all the genres covered, I think mine falls closely within classic & vintage.
Classic must-haves: pencil skirt, houndstooth, leather gloves, tailored jacket, ballet flats, & a shift dress.
Vintage must-haves: silk blouse, designer bag/clutch, fur coat, vintage shoes, costume jewelry, hat, a great designer dress.
Classic, Bohemian, Minimal, High Fashion, Street, Eclectic, Basic, Cheap Chic, Designer, or Vintage...which one are you??

ABSOLUTely FABULOUS
She may be getting some flack for posing in an ad for alcoholic beverages, but Zooey Deschanel is a dream in this Barbarella-esque spread for Absolute Vodka. I want to get this framed!
It's nice to see her in a role that is so different from the ones she portrays onscreen. Doing things differently REALLY DOES leads to something exceptional!

Meet The Swinger
The Polariod Swinger! It's more than a camera, it's almost alive, it's only nineteen dollars and ninety-five!
I got mine at the even lower price of $3.99!
Sadly, the series 20 roll film was discontinued in 1970. I have heard rumors though that there is still a way to take photos with it...
I will find a way. Yes, I will find a way.

All I WANT for Christmas...
Happy December, all! At a balmy 60°F today, it sure doesn't feel like Christmas is just around the corner. But it is and I've already been busy making & hand-picking gifts to distributes amongst loved ones.
The following are items I don't exactly need, but would like to own. I present to you my Christmas 2009 Wishlist:
1. FASHION / DESIGN BOOKS
Pink by Barbara Nemitz
A Girl's Guide to Decoratingby Abigail Ahern
The Selby Is in Your Place by Todd Selby
2. MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTIONS
Lula Magazine
Interview Magazine
3. VINYLS
This would require a little more searching, but I'm really into 1960's French pop music right now. Artists include (but are not limited to) Francoise Hardy, Jane Birkin, Brigitte Bardot, & Serge Gainsbourg.
4. FILM
500 Days of Summer will be out on DVD just in time for Christmas;);)
This gem of a film can be found in the Delirious Fictions of William Klein Criterion Eclipse Series No.9.
Miroir Noir
5. HOLGA FILM
So I can take more pretty photographs.
6. VINTAGE SEWING PATTERNS
Preferably uncut patterns (size 12.5) from the 1960's as I am hoping to make a few of my own dresses in 2010. Which I would also need this:
7. SEWING MACHINE
I know nothing about brands, models, etc. I don't even care if it's new. I just want to sew.

Best of the Week Vol.30
1.These children of couture haven't a clue what they're wearing in this adorable photo shoot for Purple Magazine.
2. Chanel Magazine (lovingly donned 31 Rue Cambon after Coco Chanel's first boutique) is launched. Nice one, Karl.
3. Popular television shows are the topic in this minimalist poster series by Exergian. I'm thinking the one for Dexter might be my favorite...
4. Lady Gaga heats up this Hansel & Gretel themed spread for Vogue. The legendary Annie Leibovitz is the lady behind the lens, naturally.
5. Brazilian interior designer Neza Cesar's brazen use of color is featured in this Desire to Inspire post.

Live Beautifully
Remarkable photography by Julia Fullerton-Batten for the Ligne Roset furniture series by BBDO Stuttgart.
I am currently in the midst of compiling a copywriting portfolio, so I was certainly sparked by this beautiful ad campaign when I stumbled upon it.
