#Letsgetpraisy Link Up

Here's a little submission I did for this little thing that Jami Nato started called #letsgetpraisy. It's about finding the sacred in the unlikely. I think Jami put it best by saying, "God lives in the sweet and precious places, and he also can be found in the scandalous and obscene places. There is no where he is not."

If you like what you see, head on over to her blog and VOTE FOR ME:) And check out the rest of her web musings while you're there. It's one of those blogs that sort of sucks you in and before you know it, you've read almost every post. Not to sound like a creeper or anything.

[Also, I am not a graphic designer. I can just pretend to be one with all those magical apps out there.] xx

I may be slightly biased, but I have been listening to the new album on repeat and it is so SO good!! Also, I am so proud of my Hubby for the excellent job he did on the CD package and poster design. The man has got skills to pay the bills (literally)! Also, he's a pretty good drummer;)

This week with him away is going to be pretty crazy, but we are so looking forward to catching up with the band in CALIFORNIA next week!! Any prayers for me travelling alone with a 1 year old would be appreciated...xx

La Terraza del Casino

Classical elements and modern charm seamlessly link the past to the present in this restaurant by Spanish furniture & interior designer, Jaime Hayon.

I simply adore the baroque-inspired, hooded seat from his Showtime collection.

Byblos Art Hotel

16th Century architecture collides brilliantly with modern art & furniture in the flamboyant Byblos Art Hotel.

Located in Verona, Italy, the hotel houses a permanent collection of work by the likes of Damien Hurst, Cindy Sherman, and Anish Kapoor.

The room of my dreams.

I'm thinking a few soZealous pieces could easily fit in here...??

Villa Moda

Hello, Bahrain! Or should I say, "Marhaba"? Villa Moda is a luxury chain of Middle Eastern department stores. This location was designed by Marcel Wanders.

Look close and you'll notice the mannequins have mirrors for faces.

Now, if only I knew how to say "fabulous" in arabic...
