31 Days as a Beginner Stay-At-Home-Mom (and finding the time to blog about it!)

I've been meaning to return to regular blogging, so what better way than by committing to a 31 Day legit blog link-up party? No pressure or anything. It's hosted by The Nester. You may have heard of it. I didn't have a whole lot of time to ponder over a writing topic, so I figured, why not start where I'm at?

You see, I just became an official, full-time, Stay-At-Home-Mom as of last week. I went on maternity leave at the end of July and my return to work date would've been on October 14th. This actually might be news to some people reading. We just feel that this is the best decision for our family and I hope to elaborate some more on that during this writing challenge.

I've allowed myself a certain amount of grace to this point since I am still "technically" on maternity leave, but I am ready to get into a routine and fully take ownership of my new role. And find time to blog about it;) Some topics I hope to touch on may include meal planning, budgeting, the SAHM's wardrobe, and other musings. I'm not an expert by any means, so this may be more amusing than resourceful.

Join me as I document about the crazy? xx

  4. I have ten kids and had the blessing of being a stay-at-home mom for almost 27 years (with a short time in-between when I had to work outside the home). Just remember as you begin your adventure in motherhood to not be too hard on yourself. Give yourself grace. Never give up on yourself, your husband, or your kids. In fact, even the disasters in raising children can often be looked back on and laughed about at some point. The best of wishes for you, your blog, and of course in being a mom!
